Fantastic!! Down In the Woods, we love it. Booked on Eurostar next Friday and tickets for AB in Brussels, may head for Cologne the next night as well. At the moment Richard and the lads live are absolutely the top. Thanks.

This was my 5th concert (I think) of RH and again it was fantastic. I was also very lucky to see the band in Brighton. The difference could not be bigger: as much as they talked in Brixton, that quiet they were in Brighton. Unbelievable how many talked during the concert in Brixton! Loads of people around me. Yes, the sound was great because of the acoustic but that meant as well that any dickhead talking could be heard as well...
I just read the review in the London Standard. No idea now what the reviewer tries to say in his review (could be I am Dutch and again, lost in translation...). Maybe he felt RH was talking to him (after the first song when he told the audience in the back to shut up)...
Yes, there were a lot of f-words in RH in-between songs but maybe it was his frustation cos so many people were talking ( I presume he and his band could hear that on stage). I know I was really getting annoyed by the klote-talkers (there is some Dutch for ya all)...
But to end this reply....I loved the concert. Just beautiful.

Oh Cloggie .... Richard always peppers his humour with the F word! I take it as a term of endearment!! Even though I shouldn't, I am always amazed that a man with such earthy humour and speech writes such wonderful tender lyrics. We should never judge a book by its cover.

I think that was one of the best of all of Richard's gigs I've been to ... a great mix of songs and I absolutely loved hearing the new stuff live. We were upstairs but I couldn't believe the level of the chatter drifting up from downstairs through both Lisa Hannigan's and Richard's sets, good on Richard for telling the buggers to shut the f.... up. Didn't spoil the evening though!!

The talkers around us probably hadn't paid – they were on the guest list! Last time I swap seats to sit in the posh seats. Hope I'm not insulting your friends H but most of them were knobs. x
