Still not totally sold on this one. Hawley aside I'm not overly interested in much else. Patti Smith and The Cure maybe, but I don't listen to either much anymore. Should be a lot better considering it's the only major festival here this year. If the lineup is to your fancy I'd encourage people to go though, as it's a very well put together event.

Ooooh. There are lots of things that float my boat. The Roots, Roots Manuva, Alabama Shakes and really like Michael Kiwanuka. Could come in the camper but will it be full of young people shitting in a bucket? x

The year I went it had a very relaxed aura about the place. But with the absence of Poxygen this year who knows who will turn up. I heard it was a bit rougher last year than normal.

i was there last year.. atmosphere was good. didnt see an ounce of trouble anywhere. don't think oxegen being off will have an effect, i think the time of year the picnic is on keeps all the kids away, theres much cheaper festivals to be had if they wanna go and get pissed for a weekend.. i could be wrong but i think it'll be a good vibe again this year

im slightly disappointed richard is playin coz he's the only act on the line up that interests me... fingers crossed for a vicar st. or olympia gig later in the year

Just had a beer with 2 friends who were down at the festival and are relitively recent RH converts and for one the first time to see the man. Feedback is the RH set was the highlight of the festival and created quite a buzz down there. Roll on Vicar St..
