Mind you unless Mrs LPD's "Diet before Longpig's August wedding" takes effect soon I don't know how she'll get up the hotel stairs! Might be a need for an emergency stanner chairlift installation! :?

Its a good job your lovely missus does'nt read your posts :*: I rather think it may be me who needs the stairlift if i have too many apperitifs. :BEEEER

Picked up my ticket today, Billy no mates, going on my own, couldn't care less just glad to have a ticket in my grubby mitts.

Got goosebumps already!

Hoping to meet some decent like-minded folk, :)

Hello "Girlafraid"!

Intrigued by your name! Are you a "girl" who is "afraid"? OR A bloke who is "afraid" of "girls"?

LPD

Hello LPD, Girl Afraid is a Smiths song, I'm a big Morrissey fan :)

Mandy, Mrs LPD wouldn't mind me posting such comments - but, just in case, you won't tell her will you?

Jean, we NEED YOU! How, can we relive the halcyon days of that first Holmfirth in 1959 if you are not present? There are such things as "priorities" in life and this is definitely one of them!

You don't want to upset the very large and dangerous Mrs LPD now, do you? :?

Bollocks and shit.

I forgot to apply and all sold out... I really wanted Holmfirth as it is such a great intimate venue. Now have to make do with Manchester instead....

I'm making do with Birmingham, at least I don't have work on the day or the day after the gig.

Not me :( missed the boat, too skint to get tickets and then when I changed my mind and decided this was the gig not to be missed it was too late....sold out. I will gladly take one off someone's hands if they find they have a spare between now and Sept and may come across for a drink anyway on the night (Holmfirth not far from me)

Feel the same, couldn't believe all the tickets had gone by Sunday afternoon! I am going to Leeds O2 10 days later though so not missing out completely.

My Holmfirth ticket arrived - I found it crumpled up inside the letter box yesterday in a tiny brown envelope; it could have been there forever! I haven't had any communication about Pocklington tickets. I ordered and paid for two (Len's annual Hawley outing!) but think I am picking up at the box office. I emailed the Arts Centre to query this but got no reply and have no booking reference number - I am rubbish! :*:
