yes at last a gig in my hometown,have waited and wished for this for a long time all my birthdays etc etc, have travelled long and far to see you play richard but will be extra special to see you in pompey :D

Somebody please tell me this gig was sold out? If not I'm going to kick myself as I was down in Portsmouth doing some work Tuesday and Wednesday, staying in a hotel a stone's throw from the Pyramids :roll:

I'd even taken a walk along the seafront in the afternoon and noticed a tour bus and wagon parked up, never even thinking who might be playing there :eh?

At least I'll be at the City Hall on Sunday :Hoorah

It wasnt sold out and that review is a bit wrong we didn't play she brings the sunlight or theres a storm a comin so not sure if that's a review of the philharmonic gig? ..> anyway thanks Portsmouth for good night

yes thought you hadnt played some of the songs mentioned in that review. tho not sold out was fairly full.if any consolation there was by far more there than at the stranglers gig earlier in the year.was a great gig the sound was the best yet.met some friends outside after who hadnt seen you live before thay were blown away by the gig. cheers hope you play in these parts again some day
