It was great to see Richard and the band in my home town and it one one of the most atmospheric gigs so far! Loved every minute as did every other member of the audience as far as I could tell... We saved our best cheers for our fellow Brummie Dean and we nearly stamped the floor out of the balcony with excitement at the end!
Thanks for a fabulous night Richard! x :Hoorah

What a great night!! So loud when the guitar and base lines hit home, brilliant. We were right up the top at the back so when open up your door was played it was like being in the advert!! :D The atmosphere of the whole place was top stuff and the crowd never stopped, even before Richard and the lads came on. Really good mix of Richards songs and excellent little add ins here and there. Stayed the night and then onto Sheffield for the City Hall performance. Fantastic, nice one Birmingham. And top one Richard and all involved, thanks. :Hoorah

That would be good! It was one of my favourite Hawley gigs ever. The venue and the crowd were perfect for him. Dean looked very happy with his hometown gig and we loved it when Richard said that Birmingham was growing on him and he might get a holiday home here ..> Soon changed his mind though! :*:

Thanks Richard, Great concert, I was at the front and fell head over heals in loce with Lisa Hanigan, but couldn't leave to say hello at her stand incase I lost my place. I always rate gigs by how long I think they last i.e. if it drags, but this gig seemed over in 5 minutes. Great sound, loud and crystal clear. It's funny with all the changes of guitars, this are weapons of mass distruction. Loved hearing SEEK It live new favourite. So strange seeing Richard so close up, for some reason I thought he was larger without the skinny legs!! Only joking come round mine and I'll faten you up oh yeah and don't forget Lisa Hanigan. :*:

Can someone please confirm what time Lisa came on stage.....i do not want to miss a minute of her set in Manchester! Thanks

Also has anyone got a setlist for Lisa?

The delight at being able to see both Lisa and Richard in one night is almost too much to cope with!!

There was an early start at Birmingham, doors opened at 6.30 and Lisa was on stage about 7 p.m. Not sure of the exact time, we just arrived as she started to sing and I didn't check my watch. Don't know if it is the same everywhere.

Birmingham has a curfew (I think it becomes a club after the gig has finished). Most gigs have doors open at 7/7.30 support act probably on at 8 and Richard at 9.

Great night, really enjoyed it, the new stuff works really well live, especially enjoyed leave your body behind you. The venue was a real surprise too, like Richard said, a bit like being in a ship, was great. 8)
