Only just remembered this was onsale today! Got tickets and there didn't seem to be an awful lot left through the website as most sections appeared sold out.

Got them but can't believe how few there were. Went directly through the City Hall website. Do they reserve large parts for ticket agencies or something. As so many had sold out at 9am and they only went on sale at 9am I can only assume that is the case. Unless Richard and the band had loads reserved for friends and family. They must have a lot of friends and very big families if that 's the case!

Just got back from work and just managed to get two tickets together from the City Hall booking site, more or less dead centre to the stage 8)

Pity they are back row of the balcony

At least I got them though and being dead centre almost at the front at Pocklington will more than make up for it :D

That wasn't the smoothest of experiences. Had four tabs open with different agencies and although one seemed to go onsale a few minutes before 9 the best it offered was E stalls.

Pick your own seats sounds great but was frustrating to click on supposedly available seats only for them to disappear before you could get em in your basket - grrrr!

and to think last time HRH played at the city hall I had a ticket but chose to go see some other band instead - what a dumpling!

Think it just goes to show how far Richard has gone over the last few years. For his triumphant City Hall debut in 2005 I got two tickets for the 2nd row dead centre without any effort whatsoever.

Is the City Hall gig sold out now? I have tried booking but cannot find any available seats. Thought it was the ipad going a bit crazy but swapped to a laptop and same thing.

Then I panicked and ordered some tickets for the Assembly Rooms gig :D

Hi PD Just about to book a ticket as couldn't believe my eyes. Instead of going home after Birmingham I could head straight for Sheffied. Whoopee. Get a hotel. New rail tickets. Checked my diary and I have a hospital appt for Monday morning. Must have been wicked in a former life.
