Tickets for Glasgow gig arrived through the post last week. Taking my partner Lorna and son Matthew the 250 odd miles from Thurso. Can't wait, I'm delighted that Matthew's first visit to Barrowlands will be to see Mr Hawley. You know that feeling you get when things start falling into place ..... :D

I didn't want to get too excited about this because I wasn't sure I'd be able to get tickets...

But yay yay yay I'm going :Hoorah

That was incredible. I can't believe I nearly had to miss it. Thank you to all of you, and I'm glad you loved it too. Only my second Barrowlands gig, and my first Hawley gig in faaaaar too long, and it was perfect.

I felt compelled to post again, just to say thanks to Richard and the rest of the team (band and sound) for a really great gig.

Previous gigs in Glasgow have always been good, but I had a feeling that with it being Friday night, pay week and the Barrowlands, it was going to be something special. It was! The crowd were well up for it and Rchard and the band delivered.

The missus was also glad to hear that Fred was being walked on Saturday am as this was bothering her on Friday night at the gig.

Just arrived home in Thurso after a weekend in Glasgow to see Mr Hawley and band at Barrowlands. Fantastic. Utterly. Words can't describe etc.

Fifteen year old son Matthew's first time at Barrowlands, thanks to band and crew for making it such an incredible night. I was also privileged to attend with my gorgeous partner Lorna. Top night for a family outing.

AND BIG SHOUT TO LISA HANNIGAN AND BAND TOO.

Ended up buying a very nice Lowden acoustic from Guitar Guitar next day, must be the full moon or vibes or something.

Thank you!
