I hope the sight of your leg is not too traumatic. I'm still shocked after seeing that foot, I had no idea it reached the state of a snake changing its slough.

Ah, no scabs but still plenty to make you queasy about Ugg boots. Do you think wearing Ugg boots makes your feet go like that? Maybe the poor unfortunate bastard wearing them was unable to get them off and the eco-system of small skin eating bugs that live in the fur of those monstrous things attacked their flesh. Maybe they had to be cut off. Maybe someone suggested they get raffled on ebay. Who knows.

Think we are kindred spirits in the stupid footwear respects, expano. Do you think, post physio, H will have to wear flip flops? Or crocs? Should I have a word about pubic toes? I don't know the bloke that well but, as the midwife said to me after 22 hours labour and a caesarian, just because you've been through a lot, it doesn't give you an excuse to look like a sack of shit. x

Great news :Hoorah Just don't go buying any Ugg boots. Incidentally, I have only just realised the Ugg boot photo wasn't what inspired the original disgust...surely the first picture couldn't have been worse? :eh?

Great news, Richard! Take care not to overstrain your leg, though. Image

The first picture was somewhat ugly, the second is abhorrent and obnoxious.

<*> Great news.

Is it true that you're playing 'accidents will happen' as a part of the set list on the upcoming tour?

So happy for you! It's shit being out of action like that and, although people are loving and supportive, it's a pain not being able to be totally independent. Enjoy getting out in the fresh air with the mutt – I am coming to the Brixton Academy so it will be good to see you on top form.

And people called Helen are always generally the best at everything. I was saying this to my other half only this morning...

Take care lovely. x
