Truly enjoyed this last night, best Hawley gig yet for me.

Setlist looked to be the same as Pocklingtons.

Richard was on fine form, despite the obvious pain, it was good humoured throughout with some good banter.

As always the band were spot on.

Y Niwl were a bit good also.

Really nice venue and the sound was excellent.

Come back soon, can't wait for the O2 now in September ..>

Meant the world to me for us to be so well received in Whitley bay I was a bit spaced out on the pain killers things started feeling a bit weird by the end but I think we did alright bless you folks and thank you

Thanks Richard it was excellent. I posted on another thread just how well the new songs blended in and the sound was brilliant. Many would have cancelled so for you to play on was truly amazing and to be so good...
By the way I teach in Spennymoor so any time you want to visit family background give us a shout :)

I'm as thick as pig shit! Posted this on a random thread a couple of nights ago!
This looks like a more appropriate spot.
Just back from Whitley Bay Playhouse. Just had to say that I loved the gig. So many highlights, Soldier On, a truly beautiful version of Remorse Code and loads of treats from the new album.
Thanks Richard for bothering to soldier on. You looked in pain towards the end and i must admit that I felt rather guilty for shouting the encore word. That said, we weren't disappointed to get that amazing performance of For your lover and finally the Ocean.
Cheers too to your wonderful band!
