I live some 5 mins away from where the festival is being held. Thought brilliant ...can take my partner Suzanne for a treat and instead of me crooning badly to R.H. albums she can see him play !
Got in touch with organisers to see about local tickets for the day. Thought it certainly wont cost us £200 to get in. Had kind reply which had me in stitches. Was told that there are local tickets and they cost £100 a piece ? That he had worked it out and if I saved a tenner a week between now and september I could afford 2 tickets.
Well am fooked off but do see the funny side...and it was great the organisers thought we were teenagers who they could give pocket money advice
(am 49 yrs)Fact is. I am on a 3 day week and one of the lucky ones round here. In some places unemployment is 75% locally. The sums just wont add up and for most locals it seems they will not be going to what will probably be the best show in these parts for a long while.
Does Richard know just how exclusive North Wales is these days ? He best take his suit to cleaners and wear his best aftershave else he wont get in to play.
