That looks stunning. I so wish I could go. Good luck getting tickets everyone.

Now I just need to work out what time 7pm is in South Australia - looks like I'm going to have an early Sunday morning (Oh god - 3.30?! ). Hopefully it will be on listen again.

PS - Anyone know how to record radio content onto your computer? I think the days of pressing play and record are behind us.... Or will it be released for us to buy?

Don't know if this will help but in the UK you can listen to 6 music through the TV on Feeview / Digi TV
or Freesat. Through this or if you have a DVD player / recorder with Hard Disk you can easily record it
and then burn it to disk.

As I don't subscribe to Sky I'm not sure if you can do the same but I would have thought so! :?

If you haven't got Sky or it doesn't work then................... :eh?

Would Sky in Aus get BBC radio? :eh?

I'll just go away now! ..>

Apply - and then pass them on to somewhere on here? I know it says "not transferable", but that's easily overcome....I have a gig on that night too but have applied - if I win, then I'll pass them on.

Ooo - really good tips - thank you. We do have a satellite dish for telly/radio (Foxtel) but I think we only get BBC World Service. Will check for R6 tho'. I do listen to BBC radio a lot, but over the internet - the 'listen again' thing is great, what with the time difference and everything. Keeps me sane - either that or it feeds my homesickness :*:

Does anyone know how this works, as in, you can apply up to 4pm on Tuesday 28th, so does that mean
if you haven't had an email by 4pm on Wednesday 29th, you've shit out!!

Also if you are one of the lucky ones.......get there early.......what's early......straight after SSS!

Or if you're really lucky after SSSS! :Hoorah

After the cut off time they select who is getting tickets and contact you. Where they are giving out the exact amount of tickets applicants usually get a phone call asking if they still intend to go. As they've said they are giving out more tickets than seats suspect this time it will just be an e-mail.

And they can leave it quite late in the day to tell you so be patient (e.g. one of their St Luke's gigs we only got told the day before that we had tickets).

I have found here in London that it is worth turning up even without a ticket and wait until everyone had gone in - if there are empty seats security often let you in. Plus there will be occasional singletons with a spare ticket - but only worth doing that if you are not going out of your way to get to the venue.

It said on the application that they would e-mail 'winners'...
