OMG so brilliant! Best Saturday night I've spent in ages! Listening at home, but wish wish wish I was there! 'Run for Me' was absolutely fantastic - His Nibs even said he wants that song played at his funeral!!!!! Hopefully, not for a long time yet..... And me and Him waltzed around the kitchen to 'For Your Lover...' - Romance is Not Dead After All!!!! Loving the version of 'There's a Storm a Comin' and the build up to the crescendo at the end actually sounded like the storm had arrived. Brilliant brilliant stuff, RH sounds in great form, looking forward to the next 45 mins..... and looking forward to hearing from those of you lucky enough to be there..........

Hi cod -- Thank you so much for the offer. I thought all hope was gone so I was just feeling sorry for myself and not even wanting to go online. I will never forgive myself. A wonderful evening gone forever. Thanks again. xx :( :( :( :(

WOW!

Sitting here on my sofa, I feel like Pete Murphy in that old Maxell tape ad. Like a tidal wave of music just crashed into my front room and changed its dimensions...
Thank you Richard. That was fabulous.

Second half EVEN BETTER if that's possible! Great to hear live performance of 'She Brings the Sunlight' and the Orchestra's imput in 'Standing at the Sky's Edge' was incredible and what a lovely surprise to hear 'Big Sister' - the B side of new single 'Seek It'. Such tender renditions of 'Don't Stare at the Sun' and 'Soldier On' and a rousing rendition of His Nibs' favourite 'Leave your Body Behind You'....and yes, Josie, 'The Ocean' arrived on our living room floor in tumultuous waves too! Thanks Guys - fantastic evening's music, loved every moment! ..>

Terrific concert, just waves of rich sound filling my living room. Congratulations all round, any chance of a recording being issued?

That was a totally amazing experience, what a great rousing setlist, Richard you were amazing as was the rest of the band, Joe Duddell, the BBC Philharmonic Orchestra, the guitar tech, who was kept on his toes all night, and all the rest of the crew...and I was even sat 2 seats behind Jarvis Cocker

It's going to take a little while for it to properly sink in...

Thank you Richard

Just got home and still buzzing. Absolutely fantastic. RH looked at times as though he wanted to be in charge rather than waiting for the conductor but what a fabulous night. Run for Me was awesome as ever. The segway into Coles Corner was magic. There's a Storm Comin sent shivers down my spine. And it was free! Those fantastic musicians and it cost nothing. I wasn't expecting to hear much of the new stuff but it sounded ace with the orchestra. I feel privileged to have been there. Gordon - is it Gorden? - was as brilliant as ever bringing on the many guitars. Awesome, awesome night. Thank you!! And, you can never have too many nails...........

First of all a massive thank you to the lovely folk on here who made this possible for me - can't express how much it meant

Awww poppy so sorry to hear you didn't make it - we were looking out for you all night and wondering where you were. :?

Tonight was immense and totally lush.  With a 60 piece orchestra the music was not just aural, at times you could FEEL it - like a physical wave of sound crashing over the audience. Awesome, as the kids would say.

Wish my brain had a hard drive so I could write the memory of tonight to it before it starts to fade but guess I can luxuriate in it again via i-player.

To Mr H and the guys - you were superb tonignt and I don't think you realise just how brilliant you are.

Massive thumbs up on this one - not too shabby at all ..>
