No Direction Home, Magna and City Hall for me (I don't travel far - will have to venture further afield!) absolutely ace, amazing, awesome - all three. It is so apparent that everyone on the stage and behind the scenes give it their all and are totally committed to the audience. I was lucky that the audience at all the gigs I went to were totally committed to listening to RH and the band and gave them the respect they deserved. Thank you Mr H and all the best for a fantastically successful European tour. As Egg so rightly says, they are in for a treat.

What I like about R H's gigs is that you are never short changed. You have someone who just simply loves playing and creating timeless songs and memorable moments. Good to see him at Lincoln and that the crowds wherever he plays are respectful and appreciative. Even his support acts meet the same standards and live up to his quality sets.
Always great to see. I think Europe are in for a real treat musically and verbally. Thanks Richard ..>

You're very welcome boss! And thank you to you and the lads (and Lisa Hannigan) for putting on such great shows. I went to Magna and the first Sheffield gig and they were easily two of the best gigs I've been to. Thank you ..>

Dave

Cheers Mr H! I've enjoyed all three of the times I've seen you this year; always impressed by the tightness of the band - never seen a bad show yet.

Xmas show? ;)

Well Mr H., thank you for thanking us - it is well and truly our pleasure though, managed to get to 4 gigs this year so far and they were all brilliant - as I've said on here before, your music takes me to a higher level - after every gig I say 'I wish everyone could experience that feeling' - it is absolutely indescribable, so a big thank you to you and the band, from the bottom of my heart, for giving us that.
By the way, you really made me laugh out loud with your banter at the Brixton gig - top form!

I'm going to pass the hat to gather up enough airfare to get you all back out to Los Angeles. It's been too long, dude!

Great few weeks. Unlucky in trying for Magna tickets but listened to the concert on Radio 6 and again on internet, went to Sheffield and Manchester gigs, and listened to the whole of Richard's show on Radio 6 this morning. Best of all though I've converted my wife a long time Hawley agnostic, who now wants to borrow my Hawley CDs for her long car journey tomorrow.

Got talking to the guy next to me at the City Hall, who at the end of the gig said "Never ever disappoints does he?" Sums it up really.

It's always a pleasure to see Richard and the band play live, the music is great to listen to but hearing it live is even better. I was lucky to get to Birmingham and to Derby, both gigs were fantastic.
