So while we're freezing our tits off in the middle of winter Richard's going to be somewhere in the outback wearing tee shirt and shorts and necking a few tinnies - bloody marvelous. :*: Seriously though, do whatever it takes to get a ticket - you won't be disapointed. ..>

Amazing and now the man himself gets to experience Australia's finest invention, a drive through bottle shop ;)

Don't even care they're not coming to Adelaide.
Had the very very naughty idea of having the week off work and trying to go to the lot. And it just won't go away! Would be a great chance to visit parts of Aus I haven't been to yet (Melbourne, Perth) plus visit friends in Brisbane (hark at me - trying to justify it... :*: ).
Not run the idea passed himself yet....
But - you know - I am going with him to see clodplay in a Sydney football stadium next month - I think a week of Hawley just about makes up for that doesn't it? (there I go again with the justification... :*:)
Think the excitment is running away with me - I'm enjoying the thought of it even if it never comes to pass <*>

trust me to move to the UK when my favourites finally make it down under!

Go do it - the next three weekends for me will be spent chasing Ian Hunter round the UK - normally just do Liverpool Mancland and London but this time doing a few more - tho' Oz is a much bigger place...

My parents are booking flights to Sydney so they can see him twice, they're mental. Now I know where I get it from ;)

Well there you go you see - you and fellow Hawleyboarders are my inspiration PD! ..>

Ran the idea passed my husband last night. Reaction not encouraging - in fact I would go so far as to say incredulous. But he's not opposed to more than one... :D

I'm so excited (and I just can't hide it) ;-). This is brilliant news as I must admit I'd given up hope that Mr Hawley would make it Down Under. But not only is he coming to Australia, he's playing one of the best venues here - The Tivoli in Brisbane. Woo hoo!!! I'm not even going to get greedy and make any song requests. I'm simply going to be happy with whatever the man serves up.

Finally, a massive thank you to Richard for making the decision to tour here. I'm a little biased, but I think you're going to like it!

Just as an aside, you're playing in Brisbane on Australia Day. You might want to consider practicing the Australian national anthem! Actually, maybe you could play the alternative Aussie anthem instead and perform Men At Work's 'Down Under'. ;-)
