So, Richard, I am flying from Auckland, New Zealand, to Melbourne with wife in tow especially to see you in concert on the occasion of our 25th wedding anniversary. I'm so glad to finally see you play live, though it would have been even nicer to see you in my own country. But, hey, Oz is better than nothing! Please play a good chunk of your wonderful back catalogue so the Ozzies can see what you're all about and so can my wife! <*>

The venues for the Australian gigs have sadly had to be changed (downsized)

Brisbane - The Old Museum

Melbourne - the Hi-fi

Perth - The Rosemount Hotel

Sydney Festival remains unchanged.

All purchased tickets still valid for the new venues.

Melbourne - you lucky, lucky people. Say hi to Rob Snarski for me....

Anyone got a spare two grand they don't want? Mr H - drag Rob Snarski and the rest of the Blackeyed Susans over here with you!!! They have visited these shores far too rarely, i.e. once as far as I know.

Thanks for the update efsb - my first news of any support act for Melb ( nothing from Frontier Touring ). Have to confess to knowing the name but not having heard the music until those clips you uploaded  - sounds good

Ok - so I'm now officially concerned.

During my weekly call home yesterday my Nan tells me of lots of snow and travel disruption at Heathrow. With more snow on the way.

Looking at the BBC News website this morning had not reassurred me.

Fingers crossed everyone that HRH and band and gear can still make it out to Australia this week!!

Hope you all have a safe journey. Blue skies await... 8)

(although it has been pretty roastie-toastie just lately so bring your factor 30... <*> )

Looks like the weather is turning a shade better in time to avoid flight disruptions. Have a great time richard 8)

I have noticed that there is a triangle sound, or bell sound in Open Up Your Door,

If you are after a player for your Perth gig, to play this, let me know, would love to jump on stage.

Last night's Brisbane gig was excellent. All songs magnificently executed and the set list much as before as far as I can remember. I felt the huge sound deserved a bigger space and a bigger audience and it's a real shame that wasn't to be. Post-fags voice seemed on great form and the guitar playing mesmerising, esp Shez on the 12 string.

Shame about the shit weather - hope Team H make it to Sydney ok today despite tropical storms! Next stop for us is Melbourne (weather permitting).

Apologies for short review - only got phone access to Internet.

Looks like a neat place - 1917 Art Deco restored - with balcony! - like Holmfirths big brother with extra sunshine ..>

That does look like a cool place, but that's not where we were last night. Is that the Tivoli?

:*: :*: :*: it's what came up on google images - maybe it has a few theatre / music spaces under one roof.
