Well past my bedtime Arne... turn into a pumpkin after 12. And, contrary to popular myth, I don't actually live in a pub!! Might go if they do a nice milky drink though! Look it up – very interesting place, trendy, massively old and opposite a rather good curry house, Lahore Two, good for meat munchers – my son loves the kebabs. x

Fantastic at Cambridge last night. Make sure you catch The Crookes tonight, our favourate support with RH, excellent.
RH and the lads played a song that we never thought we would hear live, it was top top stuff and for us just topped the evening, lets hope he plays it again tonight 8) ( will not spoil it for you all and tell).
The audience were great last night so we have to at least match that  and the response from the band was excellent, they were on great form.
Setting off now, roll on tonight....It's going to be blinding at an excellent venue. :D

Mrs Demon and I just had a wander down Denmark St to look in the geetar shops. We'll nip into the boozer later. I have to warn you we've a couple of beers already!

Look out for two drunk Scots, one gorgeous dark haired maiden and a big blonde streak of pish (me)

OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG! Oooooohhhhhh Mmmmyyyyyyyy GGGGGGooooooodddddd!
Absolutely fantastic concert tonight - and the highlight of evening - 'There's a Storm a Coming'! My O.H. said he has been to 25 gigs now and the rendition of that song was up there with the best of them!

Colin Elliot - What a Legend! - Leave your body behind you and him getting on down with that bass guitar! Phenomenal - Really Rocking man!

Brilliant 'Don't Stare at the Sun' really meant something for me tonight 'Louie takes his kite.....' lovely, lovely stuff.

AMAZING - We were treated to 'Lonely Night' (love it) leading into 'Streets are Ours'.

I just loved 'Before' just love the words and the meaning of that song, so pure and heartfelt.

Time passed really quickly, during which my O.H broke up a fight in between songs (so gallant) - I said 'young and out of their heads' - he said 'Tossers'. So funny, after RH did the intro to, I think, 'Leave your Body' the posh bloke behind me said 'he's so fucking Northern' to which his girlfriend replied ...'he's from Sheffield', and then... 'that's the halfway mark between here and Newcastle'!!! ..... Ok then...

We took 4 'Hawley Virgin' mates of his with us tonight and they absolutely loved it - in fact they all want me to get tickets for the next one! And one is definitely on for Ullapool if Mick gets it sorted!

Lovely to see Julie (good for you girl!) and Denise after all this time and to see Helen again and so lovely to meet Little Dicky (what a nice bloke!) and cpaws (lovely too), Josie (also lovely), Steve & Caroline on the way out and to wave at Palf (blimey you were busy!). What was also lovely was that there was a young couple in front of me slow dancing and snogging to the music! So romantic! The whole thing was just brilliant - I always feel like I've taken drugs and am on a high after an RH gig, the thing is (and I know I'm in the minority here) I never have, apart from the time a mate of mine fibbed and told me it was a herbal cigarette - I just had an asthma attack and fell asleep on the sofa and was late picking the kids up from school, so I don't know what it feels like really, but all I know is that a Hawley concert reaches the parts others cannot reach and it makes you feel damn good! - thank you all! x

Is it just me? Great show by Richard and the band last night but why is it that at every London gig there's always a bunch of tossers who turn up to be seen and to be heard rather than to see and to listen? There's no way Richard could ever do any of his quieter songs at a show like last nights. One person in the audience caught Richard's tongue though when Richard called him a cunt: totally justified too. Rant over, and I do hope Richard's OK as he seemed to be limping off stage quite badly at the end. Bad back maybe?

Trapped the sciatic nerve in my back in Australia total fucking agony I've tried me best since then but even with the help of osteopaths and serious drugs its awful, despite that I have enjoyed all the gigs ,London is always the same and I've realised that half the audience can't hear me over the constant talking so why bother to talk myself?just play the tunes, vibe on.....it's enough

Thanks coming to the shows folks two left then I'm taking a long time off :Hoorah ..> spring is coming time for renewal and change can't wait
