Hi forum. I don't know if Richard is privy to this forum?
My wife and I are great fans and saw him at the crucible a couple of years ago and again last year in derby.
We've got tickets for the leamington spa gig next week too.
We've recently had a very traumatic time with a house fire a couple of weeks ago where we lost just about everything!! But we have our lives which is down to our dog teddy who woke us at 3.30am with only 10 minutes remaining according to the fire officer.
We were able to salvage some personal bits which most importantly included the gig tickets and my two McKee prints. It's a lot to ask I know but a mention from Richard for my wife Mickie would give her a boost as she has having a tough time with it all.
I totally understand if Richard can't because I'm sure he has set lists etc to stick to.
Good talking to you all out there and no doubt some of you will be at the gig.
Thanks for listening
Milko

Astounding. Just one word needed to describe last night - astounding.

Hero of the night had to be the sound engineer - everyone was commenting how good the sound was.

Highlight of the night - the band played There's A Storm Comin' :Hoorah First time live according to RH who warned us that it might be shit. They played it brilliantly and it got one of the biggest cheers of the night. Hopefully Richard will put it in the set more often; starting with the Troxy?

Astounding.

Just wanted to say how great gig was last night, and in particular to hear "Storm" - loving the new version of it as well where it takes something of a sinister turn. Made my night to hear this as never thought I would but have always wanted to.

Thanks Richard!

It was indeed a great night, with the highlight for me also, Storm Coming.

The Assembly is cracking venue, Leamngton is a very nice town (found a good pub beforehand, the Clarendon), and the audience were properly respectful with none of the inane chatter (especially during the quieter part of songs) that seems to be a blight on so many gigs these days.

But above all of course, thanks to RH and the band and their back-up folk who gave us such a marvellous show.

Could anyone perhaps post up the setlist please (maybe the lady next to me on the way out who picked it up from the lighting chappie)?

Twas indeed great. Personal highlights:-

Storm
Don't stare
Ocean

Shame Soldier On was missing but hey ho. I prefer it when the set list changes even if slightly, it's nice to have a few surprises.

I managed to get Richard's set-list and a promo poster :D <*> :Hoorah

Enjoyed every moment of this gig, the venue, the atmosphere and the banter from stage. Mark and I were at the Bristol gig the night before but this one had the edge. The highlight was hearing my current favourite 'There's a storm a comin' - that song was made to be played live! It was fabulous. Thanks Richard and the lads... Another great night ..>

I need to get the same shampoo as the lead singer - he had very shiny, floppy hair! :*:
I thought they were excellent!
