New here, be kind. After going to Brighton with my brother Norm, i decided my kids needed to see Richard as well. We all went off to the Troxy (beautiful building). Had a flipping brilliant time, the man is a genius. Met a very brave lady on her own all the way from Cleveland! My daughters were blown away, gob smacked, and all the other words they used. The school run is a much better place without the radio, and just Richard and the arctic monkeys in the cd player. I read about the person who let his phone go off in soldier on, i want to say to you, as my mum said to me when i was 5, its not big, and its not clever. You, my friend are not 5, grow up. There was a small incident at the Troxy, a very drunk, preditory much older gay man, abusing his young friend. Soon sorted out though. Thank you Richard for a very enjoyable evening. We blooming loved it.

New here too & what a great gig it was! Thanks Richard! Apart from the bar staff smashing bottles, especially during Soldier On, it was perfect & the new version of There's A Storm Coming, epic!

This wasn't my first gig, I went to Brixton Academy last year, which was eventful. My missus fainted during the gig but as we were at the front some medics were on hand & there was a group of student nurses next to us who were brilliant, so if they're on here, thank you! We were one of the first to arrive & noticed a photo type booth in the bar so decided to investigate & the idea was that you record a 30 second, or so, video about the artist you are going to see & the best would be posted on YouTube. Well......me & the missus decided to have a laugh & recorded a few thinking it might give the people who judge what goes on YouTube a bit of a laugh, but! It seems we were the only ones to do it & they were put on YouTube! * So if you search for Richard Hawley Brixton Academy, you'll see us making a prat of ourselves. This was prior to the fainting incident.

Also saw Richard at Little Sessions, which was a great venue, fantastic church & I've just booked tickets for the Somerset House gig. Can't wait!!

Can anyone help? The lovely beardy man and band that supported Richard at the Troxy. His name was Tom. He said he was going to do some recording with Richards band. I want to look him up, but cant remember his last name.

Took our daughter and boyfriend to see Richard at Troxy. He has done a few adverts for TV and said he was going to put an RH song on their next add because he thought RH was brilliant!! Their last one was the British Gas add. He has just rang to say that he has had a sample CD from EMI with 19 tracks on and one is RH 8) There is also a I Am Kloot track amongst them :D Who Knows? By the way RH tune on Match Of The Day when I watched it Sunday morning........Down In The Woods..........you know you've cracked it when your on MOTD 8)
