Do I bankrupt myself by buying a ticket AND still travelling down to London the next day? Hmmm........could I bear to see the show two nights in a row? Now there's a question.... :eh? :*:

Aaagh! Flying out on a sunny holiday that very day

Sods law that this is only 5 miles from my house. Any chance of an appearance at
The Mosborough Music Festival to make up for it :*:

Nice - one of my childhood playgrounds. Live at the opposite side of town now and haven't been back for years so great excuse to revisit.

It sounds interesting, I have not been to Sheffield for over a year and don't mind a trip over the Pennines.

Woohoo! That's only 300 yards from our house! Get in.

Cheers - we would normally stay a the Ibis - but as your offering - the sofa will do - is it OK to bring the dog along?

Not ignoring you Poppy Dog [and dog] - I just can't think of a witty reply worthy enough to send back to you! 2 and a half days and still can't think of anything funny enough to send.
Which breed is your dog by the way? Our's is a nasty little terrier bastard thing!

I'm on holiday this week - so some of my posts were sent when a bit pissed - unlike when I am working when all of my posts are....

Our dog is a blind diabetic black Labrador that likes beer and crisps - probably the most loving dog I have ever come across - but then again maybe not - all dogs are loving - apart from the wired hair terrier bastard that bit me in the nose as a toddler sat in a tripper outside Johnny Robinsons Greengrocers / Sandy Lane / Weston Point as a kid <true story>

Sadly I have been made aware that the date of the 'g'ior in the park' is also my big sisters 60th birthday - so I best keep it free - but don't think you get off so lightly - we get over to Sheffield once or twice a year - and our bus may be parked outside your house one day :bigsmurf:

We're hoping to make it up for this one, we'd be really grateful if anyone can point us in the direction of somewhere lovely to stay...quiet, comfortable with character, and as it's for a birthday treat, price for once, is not important.

This is a very pretty hotel near the Botanical gardens with nice restaurants around if it's for a treat. Not a chain hotel so a bit more interesting. Only trouble is the dodgy neighbours! ( ie me!) taxi ride away from Graves Park -
