Thinking of buying a joint ticket for the levellers & richard hawley in the BIG TOP sheffield,but the website is charging a whopping 10% transaction fee which adds up to £4.65 on top of the ticket price of £46.50. I was under the impression that these charges had just been made ILLEGAL by the goverment,does anyone know if this is so ???

I only bought a ticket for the Hawley gig but there was no transaction fee... |

Weird, I definitely didn't pay a transaction fee last Friday (I've checked my bill) but now there is a 10% transaction fee on the website

Don't get me started on ticket fees and surcharges! If it's a local gig or theatre event, I try to get to the box office and buy my ticket over the counter but some theatres have even started to add a handling charge for that privilege! |
