First entry on the forum although I have been viewing for the last 3 years, just thought I would drop a note to say that my RH fix for September was fulfilled last night at Shepherds Bush Empire where Richard joined the Manics on stage for the title track of the new album, excellent night.

Sounds good. That new Manics album is BAD! And when I say bad, I mean good. Really impressed. Welcome to the forum too!

Thanks for the welcome, big fan of Severed Limb since seeing you at the Albert Hall last year and several times since.

I'm going to see the Manics at the Ritz in Manchester on Friday - fingers and toes crossed that Hawley makes an appearance

I've heard no reports of him at other shows bar Newport, I may be mistaken, but either way you'll have a great
time. I was at the Dublin gig last week, best I've seen them in ages.

God bless you carandtim!!

The Manics was the first gig I ever saw. Glastonbury '94 with Richey playing. It was LOUD! Also, it doesn't get said much but Sean Moore is a great drummer.

My first proper gig too, not Glastonbury though too young. On 13 now I think. It was a friends 219th manics gig!

They are all very nice people, James especially, very down to earth guy. Met him a few times.

On the new album, 'This Sullen Welsh Heart' and 'Rewind The Film' are absolutely beautiful. Amongst the best stuff they've ever done. Great collaboration.

Only just got back to sunny Sheffield and I've not been on here and seen the posts. The band were on fire, it was bloody amazing!! The crowd were so loud, one of the best Manics gigs I've been to!! I'm a little bruised but it was totally worth it! :Hoorah

Just booked to do a few dates on the tour next year. We're doing Leeds, Manchester, Wolverhampton and Brixton. We wanted to do the first and last night of the tour but they Manics have added an extra date gutted! :(
