You could try The Noose & Gibbet on Friday as it's near the Arena for the gig - I haven't been for ages but you'll notice the (real) Gibbet with a (fake) corpse hanging outside it :)

You're on the wrong side of town for Fagans on the Friday really but it's only a 15 minute tram ride away if you wanted to. DO go to Fagans on Saturday night though with some great folk session music in the back. Or whilst you're down that end of town also you can do The Grapes or Kelham Island/Red Deer etc - all great saloons :)

Thankyou kindly for the advice, its much appreciated ..>[/quote]

Pleasure. Might see you at the gig. Enjoy Sheff! :)

For anyone attending Sheffield Arena, you can probably pick up a copy of the latest Exposed magazine featuring Mr H from the box office foyer - or for the techie kids amongst us, just read it online here (page 32)

Looking forward to the Gig tonight and hearing the new songs live. In particular "Tuesday pm" that sees Richard hitting a couple of unusually, for him, high notes. Just wondered if these were achieved naturally or is the use of external equipment involved? :D

Magical night at Barrowlands. Great atmosphere. Great crowd. Applause at the end of "Open up your door" went on forever. Still my fave track however "I still want you" is running a close second.
By the way if the guy who runs on and does the guitar changes ever phones in sick or just fancies a night off I don't mind jumping in at short notice!!!

The Barras was great last night! The band were tight as and Shez was rocking it!! Mr H your voice is in fine form, best vocal ive heard in a long time. Currently in Sheffield having a few looseners before the gig! Loving it!
Ps - everyone in Sheffield so far has been super polite! We are loving it :)

Did i mention we're loving it? :*:

Puts me in mind of the much maligned forum photo of the man with an exhaust pipe!

A man... with an exhaust pipe  That mental picture is nearly as disturbing as the original picture you refer to

"Steel Hall" set up at the Arena worked really well i thought. Good show, even spotted the legend Uriah Rennie on the concourse.
