Looking forward to tonight in Dublin. Pints in the Thomas House after the gig are highly recommended. Pints before too.

fantastic gig in Dublin Vicar street. Richard and the band were in great form. I've seen Richard live many times and this was probably up there with the first time i saw him in whelans. The sound was brilliant. The acoustic guitars sparkled and the electrics sounded full and clear. Richard was in fine voice especially on the quieter songs like tuesday pm and what love means. The songs from sky's edge sounded huge. He gets better and better every time I see him. The Dublin crowd love him like one of there own. He broke a guitar string during heart of oak, the first time he ever broke a string in 30 years of playing live. That gave the lads in the band a good laugh. Shez was on fire tonight. His playing was world class. What a band!!! Thanks for a great night. ..>

Just back from Dublin. We had fantatstic seats to watch the show and Richard and the lads just get better and better, louder and sharper. Anyone going you will have a great night, Julie reckons its the best she has heard them :Hoorah The guitar playing from Richard and Shez is just top top performance. The best live guitar playing in my (very humble) opinion since I saw Rory Gallagher over 40 years ago.( ).
I really wish there was a live album of one of the concerts because it really is so good,(I know we have Devils Arse) but even snippets from various concerts because the add ons and variations of songs are so good.
We had a great flyer into Dublin and out again, went up the Guinness tower where some young lady sang and then proposed to her boyfriend(Its on youtube apparently).
Thank you Richard and all concerned, excellent :D Looking forward to Sheffield and Roundhouse...................Have a feeling Manchester will be 'aving it!!!
And by the way the crowd loved him ..>

Agree with all this. Vicar St is one of the better Dublin venues for sound by a good margin. Didn't spot you, Carl, but I'll bump into you about town soon. Was with Eoin the whole night. Hungover to bits today.

Anyone thinking of going down to Cork? Bit close to a wedding I've to go to but hopefully can get a few bob together. My Dad couldn't make this one but appreciated the Hawley travel sweets I got him

I saw an elsebound train, on the overpass
In the driving rain, every ticket costs the same
For where you can't go
Mustang horses, champagne glasses
Anything frail anything wild
It's the price of living motion, what's beautiful is broken
And grace is just the measure of a fall.
