You go North of Dublin, there and back in the day for a meeting and Boom! Hawley Gigs! :Hoorah
Now the dilemma.......love the Albert Hall; always wanted to go to a gig at The Roundhouse, but that
clashes with a weekend in Glasgow for U2; Scarborough.......difficult on a Wednesday; Leeds.....poss;
but Sheffield it is...........The Hosts....Special Guests :?:........ 8)

Ticket booked for Sheffield :D In a seat. Don't like standing at gigs. Apart from anything else I can't see bugger all, due to being a shortarse :roll:

Problem with seated gigs is they are often at the other end of the spectrum and lacking in atmosphere.. people who cant sit still for 5 mins with bladder control issues having people get up to let them out and the serial bar visitors... always too quiet for my liking when you start wondering if those random sounds are somone doing their knitting or boiled sweets hitting off denchers.. either way always better a venue that has both so everyone has the option..

I've got standing at the Roundhouse and intend to be lairy with tall people messing with my personal space. You are obviously not a midget or you'd see sitting with the oldies as a good option.

And Josie, you're on. Will be in touch nearer the time and we'll have a catch up. xx

:*: That's exactly what I've done for the same reasons, albeit at Cambridge as opposed to Sheffield, could've gone for The Roundhouse but no seating there.

I'm just glad it's at The Sage, the O2 Academy in Newcastle last time had a shitty atmosphere. You could always do a warm up gig at Whitley Bay Playhouse, now that was a good night ..>

Hi folks I just want to say thanks for the support means the world, could I also say there's a divided vibe about the Sheffield arena gig, so just to be clear it's NOT the full arena gig it's a much smaller space, there will be seating and standing. The music is now doing at last what I always wanted it to be and now has a wider appeal to all and excludes no one whatever your age,creed,colour or where your from and so this means I have to consider everyone who may come along to enjoy the show, having both seated and standing increases the atmosphere for us on stage and I hope for the audiences too I didn't want to do two nights at the city hall again,maybe next time but for now we are trying something new to us and hope you will come and join in the spirit of it all but totally understand if you preferred the seated gigs. We will try and make it as welcoming as possible.....forwards

Kind regards

Richard xx
