As I think that I have whinged on before, I apply for tickets every season and I've never got one! I have slowly slipped from one age bracket to the next – a depressing enough fact in itself! And Tom Jones as well!! The Green, Green Grass of Home was no1 in the charts on the day I was born and my mum has always had a soft spot for him. It will make a good watch, maybe I'll call over my ma's and we can watch it together. xx

You sign on to the BBC audience thing, wait ages, and get told you haven't been successful. You've probably got more chance of winning the lottery... xx

My burning bitterness at never getting a tickets aside, I thought it a great show. H and the crew sounding good (drummer boy scrubs up well); liked Tiggs Da Author and the singer from Canada was good. I don't really get John Grant (howls of derision, maybe it's the Hoxton beard, or maybe it's the slightly Associates-type vocal – suggest me something to change my mind) and lovely Tom, who is and always will be very lovely. I would've made a very enthusiastic member of the audience but, as I said, I was "unsuccessful on this occasion" just like the fifty or so before that... not that I'm bitter...

Went to bed early and missed it...damn these alcohol free nights...

Still Friday I will be full of beer and up for it ...

And who's that bugger shouting 'yeah' during the Heart Of Oak?...give him a Knighthood...that's just what I was doing...

It must be tough trying to simmer it playing that...you just want to do a full on nut job freaky deaky do.

Missed it. In Norway for a few days, Stavanger and Oslo, not as glamorous as it may sound; work!
Catch up on Friday........back in Blighty.

Hi mate we shook hands and said hello as I complimented him on his outstanding playing but sadly just didn't have time to say more, great great heart player,I mentioned it all to Mester Simpson round his kitchen table tonight and he was very keen to see the full show they are friends anyway,Robbie does some incredible playing but I shall say no more it will spoil it,I hope you enjoy the show it was without doubt the most chilled and mutually respectful"later"I've ever done....so many beautiful voices to be heard there....singers and players ,I did me first with the lovely Pulp in 98 when I was a mere 31 year old whipper snapper....special mention to Robbies guitar co-Hort Scot who actually gave me a self built fuzz pedal what a sweet guy,humble,brilliant,talented...I am just in awe around folks like him....kindness ,wisdom, instinct, beautiful mind, fookin talent.....the end....sleep X
