Are tickets still available for Sheffield? May have to miss the support travelling from Chorley after work but it would be so good to see the main man on his own turf.

Just checked the Sheff City Hall website and there are limited tickets still available. Not the best seats in the house by any means.

Thanks simonj, Ive been on there myself now and the few tickets left are in an area of restricted view. Could anybody tell me if the restricted view is really bad like pillars in the way etc or is the stage clearly visable from the seats. I have never been to the venue before. From images on the web it looks a fab building and theatre. I was just wondering how bad the restricted view is. Many thanks.

Will it be like the sort of Christmas show at the City Hall in 2006 when we were treated to some acoustic backtracks and a Christmas CD giveaway? That would be like Christmas.

Hard to believe that is now a full decade ago. I still dig out that copy of Silent Night every Christmas. Great night :)

I have the record on my Christmas "playlist" so it gets regularly played over the festive period.

Hello. Short term lurker; first time poster here. I just wanted to say, this time in two weeks, we'll be at t'City Hall and I'm proper giddy! I had tickets for York, but as the "friend" who came with me took 45 minutes perfecting her eyeliner, I missed half the set and was trapped at the back of Fibbers surrounded by the tallest and grumpiest people in the world, so I saw not one thing. I could have (did) burst into tears... . I was so grateful to efsb for posting such top photos from York; it looked like you had a really good time down there at the front! So, really looking forward to Sheff. Hoping for benign weather so we can make it over the Pennines in good time. x
