Scaled back semi acoustic maybe - seeing as capacity is 100 I suppose the ticket price would be hefty - but with a bit of notice folk can save up

I'd be up for that.. Probably mentioned here back in the day about seeing a band called The Pains Of Being Pure At Heart (check em out folks) in a boat / venue moored on the Seine in Paris called Batofar. Brilliant experience. Funnily enough for all you ship geeks out there it was originally an Irish Light Ship then named LV Osprey which entered service as a Light Vessel for the Commissioners of Irish Lights in 1955, ahem... anyway the hull was hollowed out with a bar and a stage and the sound strangely enough was excellent.. maybe get a 200 souls or so down there. Bar upstairs on deck and DJ after party... weird sensation of the room moving a bit before you even had a beer....

I saw an elsebound train, on the overpass
In the driving rain, every ticket costs the same
For where you can't go
Mustang horses, champagne glasses
Anything frail anything wild
It's the price of living motion, what's beautiful is broken
And grace is just the measure of a fall.

Or a Thames barge, loads of room on them. We had a friend who lived on one. About the same floor space as a small mansion.

There used to be a venue in Glasgow - Renfrew Ferry? ...that hosted gigs. Saw Jonathan Richman there one time.

When I was at Uni in York, there was also a nightclub, in a big boat moored on the Ouse. Seem to recall that it sank though....

At least two in use in the UK one a few hundred yards from the Danny in Liverpool and another in Gillingham.

Here's a photo of Neil McSweeney / Vera Van Heeringen having a pre gig run through on the LV21 Gillingham.
