I made my usual sneaky audience recording and it seems to have come out rather nicely. The previous comment here got me thinking though - if it passes muster perhaps the recording could be uploaded somewhere to generate a little bit of money for a charity?

These things usually get about 100 downloads - £1 a time could be a small but welcome bonus for a worthy cause.

Just thinking out loud...

nice idea!

Have managed to remember my password and log on for the first time in a long time.
Just wanted to swing by and say how much I loved the fibbers gig. Support were superb and Richard and Shez were on fire. Absolutely fantastic. The newer songs really lent themselves to the stripped back acoustic style and what a joy to hear Clive Mellor.
I feel really privileged that I've made such great mates through your music and it was lovely to catch up, briefly in some cases, on Sat night.
Felt like coming home.
I love that you still play the smaller more intimate venues, no matter how well known you become. I feel really privileged that I've seen you in some tiny places alongside the larger venues.
Tickets and hotel booked for Sheffield I'm December. Really hoping for pre-post show shenanigans with me mates.

Love you all.

Here's a wee bit of my recording. I'll put the whole thing up for download in the usual places in the next couple of days.

I actually took a load of my multitrack recording gear with me in the car in the hope of getting there early enough to speak to someone and offer to make a proper recording but circumstances conspired against me. Maybe next time...

Thank you - great quality - listening to Remorse Code for the first time as an acoustic track and keep expecting it to break out into the full group . . . .and discovering it is just as beautiful played slow and quiet!!!

Added to my vast download collection...that consists of Richard Hawley @ Albert Hall / Manchester plus other assorted Colorama tracks from a while back...

Gives an insight into what went on in the shed when putting together Hollow Meadows.

Many thanks for this - maybe could be made into an official bootleg CD available at gigs only ;-)

The live recording is superb and it's been great to hear the slightly new sound the acoustic treatment has given to the songs.

It's Macmillan's coffee morning this Friday so I'm going to add more to my original donation to that as my charity donation for being able to download the gig.
