Thanks to Former Pink Lady for this news - an acoustic gig - tickets on sale from 10.00 on Friday.

It's been announced this morning that Richard is doing a gig at the Trades Club in Hebden Bridge on Saturday 28 January as part of Independent Venue Week. Tickets aren't on sale yet but keep an eye on the Trades Club and Independent Venue Week sites.

Second Hebden Bridge date announced. Extra date added @thetradesclub Hebden Bridge acoustic show for @IVW_UK on Jan 29th- on sale Mon 19 Dec 9pm here - I've copied that from Parlophone's Twitter announcement so I presume 9 pm is the correct time?

Sweet baby Jesus. - Sunday date sold out in 5 minutes flat! If any one managed to duplicate their ticket purchases, I would only be too happy to take two off your hands for your chosen price.

Likewise, moving home and slipped my mind until 9:30 way too late. If anyone has a ticket or two for either date, please contact

I didn't realise the Hebden Bridge gig was a part of something Independent Venue Week - and have figured that a night seeing Richard in Hebden / hotels and car fuel costs would come to over £100 - so if the money 'saved' from missing out on the first date is put to one side - along with the same for the second - I have almost enough to put on 'some one' at my local independent local theatre...

Well put together - takes you there and plonks you in the crowd.

Good to see beaux nidle getting rapturous applause - I am sure at York the loudest shout out was also for when the thin man graced the stage

I think it's a fairly safe bet that the 6 Music Festival will be in Hull this year, City of Culture an' all that!

The official announcement is on Lauren Lavern's show, from 10:00am Tuesday.

It's normally end of Feb, beginning of March.

Mr Hawley? Another safe bet? 8)

Radio 1's Big Weekend is in Hull at the end of May (Burton Constable Hall) 8)
