In fairness to them, they quit talking immediately. It was only after that I was told that the bloke was in fact Richard's manager!! "

caught red handed mate - many apologies

Guest list for Manchester in Feb will make up for it

In the spirit of Christmas, I accept your apology. If it had been any other song, I may have just continued to think evil thoughts and say nothing. But Lady Solitude.....

I agree. I haven't had the pleasure of hearing it live yet, but it might be my favourite song at the moment...

He wore it in San Francisco I think, if I remember rightly and I thought of you. :*:

You have to hear the story told by the boss himself, it's his story.

Fair enough - did you hear that, Richard? Anyway, glad you had a good time. I'd best be off, but I'll be waiting for this story now!

Hi Andy - it was great to meet you too... "Wayne" is more normally known as Mark but he'll answer to anything! :*: I think it's lovely when we all get to meet up - especially at Xmas. :santa:

Been trying to find out who sung that cover version of "the eye of the tiger" that was playing before the guys came on, for you.
Think it might be Green Day...

Anyway it was a fantastic night.... :*: We can always rely on Mr H to show us a good time.

Xmas was great - we are enjoying the break from work, the chance to spend more time with friends and family.... and the beer!

Hi Julie

Send my apologies to Mark - i blame it on the free beer and being tired and overworked! (although he will have to be known as Wayne if i ever see him again  )

I'd forgotten about the Eye Of The Tiger cover... i'm bloody determined to track it down now though! Don't think it was Green Day - it was very easy listening

Glad to hear you've had a great xmas

p.s. for anyone that's wondering... the ironing story was something else...

:D  :*:

I don't remember hearing Eye of the Tiger but there are versions by Crew 7 and Red Hot Chilli Peppers. If you've got iTunes search for it on there and see what you think.
