I have a vague memory that they once did a song on Teletubbies. Anyone remember that?

The Hawley concerts are great for socialising. I also chatted to a very familiar looking guy in a checked coat who told me he was Dean's best mate and I said after, that I was sure he was in King Pleasure and the Biscuit Boys.... I've just confirmed on the internet that he was and so was Dean - known then as Bam Bam Beresford!

How strange, I picked up a copy of the Nantwich Jazz, Blues and Music Festival taking place this Easter and they are performing on Monday 24th March. I might go to see them, I can walk from where I live. :)

I hope De Montford Hall, Leicester, 2008, won't go down in Hawley folklore as a monster. It's certainly suffered a bit of flak over the last eight days.

We could all see that Richard didn't really enjoy himself, culminating in the plug being pulled on The Ocean. He's since confirmed that he hated the show.

I didn't think The Villains did wonders to warm up the crowd and Mr H seemed to start on a defensive footing for some reason, perhaps because there was little banter.

But, it would be wrong for those who weren't there to think it was a stinker of a performance or that the crowd left dissatisfied. I really enjoyed it and the crowd were lapping it up by the end.

The show simply had a fuzzy Monday night feel to it, not helped by the venue or the empty seats near the front. I'm sure Mr H and the lads have had better nights, and no doubt they may have worse.

Not quite - he did add something later in that thread just to say that he was being a git and the audience were just a bit flat...............

Baroness, yes Richard DID clarify his earlier comment, which I refered to. I hope punters who forked out good cash won't feel he was being ungrateful. That would be a shame. From his general comments it is clear he values his fans highly.

Must crack on. I'm working late at the office and Mrs NewEggs might be watching...

Anyway, onwards and upwards. All eyes on the Albert Hall?
