RH, you are a genius....

Superb gig, fine, fine musicians all of you. I brought a mate, who's now a big RH fan. Hope you found some good Dublin pubs while you were here - maybe you took a few of my recommendations on board!?

You know what? I've always like to think I'm not such a total twat that I'd fall all over my favourite musician/actor in the street. But seriously, I think you and Morrissey are now the only two that could knock me out with sheer presence. Mrs Hawley's a lucky woman!

'til next time,
x

Me and the missus are back in frozen Tyneside after what we could only agree was an amazing gig - well worth the effort, not to mention the nail biting wait for new passports after we discovered 5 days before going that we'd chucked the other buggers away: oops. Thanks Richard and the rest of the lads (including Clive of course...how does he make that sound!!?) Spellbinding, uplifting, at times down right righteous and funny - a really nice looking venue, good atmosphere and christ, how time flew. Her mother's coming over today and she's a huge Ricky Nelson fan so pretty soon you'll have another convert :*:
Cheers fellas!

no worries Claire glad you guys had fun, I only had the chance for a very swift pint before the gig anyway, running late as usual. Made up for it afterwards, some session my head still hurts. Great night all round then :D

I saw an elsebound train, on the overpass
In the driving rain, every ticket costs the same
For where you can't go
Mustang horses, champagne glasses
Anything frail anything wild
It's the price of living motion, what's beautiful is broken
And grace is just the measure of a fall.

The third time the family & friends saw Richard in Dublin, magic! Some of the best nights out with our boys! Richard rallied through the set, like a man posessed at times and the band, well hey...They're the biz! Best pint is in a sheebeen at an undisclosed address in Dublin. THANKS RICHARD HAWLEY AND THE BAND!!!!!!
