OK Vaughany, you've done your 5-year stint, now get along to the next concert of your fellow cityman and discover some "real world".
If you watched the two interviews, one the day he resigned as England cricket captain, and the one on Sky yesterday, you would realise how much he craves normailty.
Richard - is that what he should expect if he turns up ?

Note bigtime fishing for date of next Sheffield gig :D
Did I disguise that well enough ?

Don't think any of us did. We kind of ignored it and hoped it would go away.

Niver mind the Joe Meek film is due for release soon at the London film festival. Has Rich had chance to read the book yet, he must have done what we all do and flick through the pics at least.

The Tea Chest tapes sold for £170,000 by the way allegedly to Simon Jordan who financed the Telstar play and the film.

Sorry for all the replies but summat when bonkers either my computer or the server or me !
With regard to the tapes there is going to be a lot to sort out, royalties etc probably from artistes who misled John Repsch when researching the book and for personal reasons denied ever been there. They'll all come out of the woodwork now if there's a snifter of brass to be had...rotten pigs !
Must say RH comes across as a decent bloke with regard to certain aspects of the music industry and attitude to his followers, hate the word fan, sounds like something out of "Smash Hits" or Jackie...not that I read Jackie...well only in the dentists
Cheers
Chris
Thanks for the Cheque Richard !
