(Mentioned in Dear Richard, but thought it worthy of a thread of its own as I can't find the original from last year)

Do you still have your allotment?
Did you grow anything this year?

Scenes from Richard's allotment:

But it suffered during last year's floods;

All back to normal now, though. :D

No I'm getting two of the same thread showing on posts since I wandered off for a bit of the real world......otherwise known as the football. Think there's been a big clean up of old posts

Not really no- 2 glasses of wine and a bottle of lager isn't exactly "in full training" :*: think it's just an oddity with the pc/forum......the latest Woodcock to arrive here had a post earlier that appeared twice as well

ps and when I've really been drinking you get mixed case!

Hang on exapno, you gave me some sound advice last week about wine+wine+beer ... what do you have to do to make sure you're equilibrium's okay?

so, do you still have your allotment? I love ours - things are finally starting to grow now we have hot rid of the rats, the badgers( they sneak in from the wood next door and nick the potatoes) - looking forward to a bumper crop of courgettes, beans, peas, more courgettes, strawberries, plums, rhubarb, more courgettes................... Is it the near the allotment with all the wierdo sculptures in it?

Oh good, on topic  ... one of my artichoke plants survived the winter; I planted some strawberries but think I've put them in to shady a spot; had to break the scrivelled plums from last year off but looks as though it hasn't harmed the tree; and the fig tree is budding fruit so I'm hopeful that if we get some hot weather this year I'll get some edible fruit from it. Going to try tomato plants again ... last year's move to Scotland saw them rot on the vine. The herbs are all doing pretty well.
