Richard,
As you're in Mallorca at "Waiting for Waits", I'll be in Edinburgh doing the same thing as the promoters of that festival - but I'll see him on 27th! The Tom Waits forum I read says that all the acts must perfom at least one Tom Waits cover as part of their set. Is that part of the deal? Have you decided what you're doing yet?

I've mentioned "I Hope That I Don't Fall In Love With You" as a cover I'd like to hear you do in another thread ages ago, but wondered what your choice will be.

Not that you need suggestions but 'Picture in a Frame' would be an excellent choice :)

I think Richard would do an amazing Downtown Train.

I can just hear Richard singing those lyrics, some of his best in my opinion, and I think the band would do it extremely well, with Mr Trier very involved.
