Hello sir,
I found about your music via Dean Wareham, most notably of the band Luna and also of Galaxie 500 and Dean and Britta fame.

He mentioned you in his book (Black Postcards) and also mentioned you in an interview as the one performer who he'd like to write a song for.

Was wondering if your paths have ever crossed, and maybe what you think of his music.

Thanks for this forum!

Thanks for the welcome...it's nice to be here. Here is the interview quote, which comes from a French magazine called Magic.

"Magic: Who would you offer your best song to ?

Wareham: Richard Hawley — he has that tremendous voice that makes any song better. Having said that, perhaps it would be better if Mariah Carey did the song, as she is back on top of the charts, and as writer you get paid 7.5 cents for every copy sold."
