Jut wondering Richard what you do in your 'downtime' (if it's not too nosey)?

That is between recording and performing and when you're not feeling particularly inspired to write?

Do you have a routine? (being dead nosey now)

Nah just potter about,play footy with the kids,try not to watch too much telly...........well ANY telly to be honest i hate it.I avoid listening to music these days,don't want to be influenced at all,the older i get i appreciate peace and quiet more and more.I love talking to folk mostly,in the street or in the pub.I read a shit load i enjoy a boss book me

have you read tearing down the wall of sound, the rise and fall of phil spector by mick brown. Excellent book. Very well written. Half genius half madman. Check it out

Interesting you say that. I've heard professional writers say they miss reading because whilst they're writing they don't want the distraction of another writer's style (plus they've probably not time too).
