Excellent show. Great selection of recordings and highly informative chat from Richard. Look forward to next week's episode.

Just having a listen now. The programme is a real treat. The BBC is brilliant sometimes.

RH on R2 BBC iPlayer talking about his Rockabilly thang. As a bonus JD McPherson 'live' on the same programme. http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/b0 ... ssa_Feltz/

Run the show from the start. JD live followed by chat with RH. Shame the pair weren't in the same studio. You know the pair would get on.

Mr Hawley is on his best polite behaviour when fielding Vanessa Feltz probing questions....

No one should have to face being probed by Vanessa Feltz.

Just settled down to listen tonight & unwrap the newly arrived vinyl; it was like Christmas morning...Then the bloody phone rang  Missed half of it & not yet available on iplayer :|

Can't see it just being me so has anyone else noticed when listening to the first two programmes on iPlayer we get the last minute or two of Jo Whiley and Rockabilly Radio gets cut off before it finishes?

I'm recording them on my digital radio ensuring I start recording before the programme begins and ending recording when the programme has definitely finished - I should have the iplayer job at the BBC!

After the eighth and final programme, I'll edit them with precision care and put them all on one cd so if anyone wants a copy then, ask me!

p.s Has anyone else noticed that 'Questions for Mr Hawley' has been taken off the forum. Has he completely deserted this forum after the Standing at the Sky's Edge thread became so craptastic? It's a real pity if he has.

Richard asked for it to be removed. Posts have been moved into the Misc section. It kind of usually ended up duplicating stuff that got answered elsewhere anyway.

This would be great! I'm trying to record all the programmes on weekends, by letting then run while Audacity's on, but it keeps on closing unexpectedly, so it may take about two hours to get the programme properly recorded... Only to find the final minutes are missing!

Thanks God he's not that angry. I also thought he had decided not to come back, which would have made that section pointless. But if the reason is duplicated stuff, I feel relieved. I hope he'll be posting again soon Image.
