According to the EPG on my DAB radio, tomorrow's show has been replaced with a tribute to Robin Gibb.

As long as it is on eventually - a tribute to Robin Gibb is justified.

I'm just listening to last weeks show. http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio/player/b01hjk06 I was at a Trades Council meeting on Thursday and forgot all about it.

Mr Hawley......what an excellent radio program you have produced. My only criticism is that its too short and there are'nt enough of them.

As I have been gadding orf around the globe, I was wondering if there are any plans to repeat them or is there a (legal) way of obtaining the said broadcasts?

:D

For me last nights show had the best selection of the series so far including great rock oldies from Gene Vincent, Elvis and Little Richard. Wonderful story related by Richard about Sonny Boy Williamson's method for conditioning his harmonicas.

Richard seems well on his way to becoming an accomplished radio presenter/DJ. Another string to his guitar! I look forward to next weeks programme and, hopefully, more beyond that.

Will it already be the last one? Then they're not only too short, but too few. I thought so when I read they were just eight, but now I know it. I've missed a couple of them (wasn't able to listen to them before they removed them from the BBC web), but those I've listened to were top-class.

One vote here for Rockabilly Radio Part II.

Brilliant end to the series last night, I really hope there will be another series as I'm sure Richard has thousands more songs he'd love to share with us ..>

Great series and hopefully more to come. Did anyone compile a playlist that they could post on here?

I'm recording them on my digital radio ensuring I start recording before the programme begins and ending recording when the programme has definitely finished - I should have the iplayer job at the BBC!

After the eighth and final programme, I'll edit them with precision care and put them all on one cd so if anyone wants a copy then, ask me!

Really, really enjoyed the radio show - learnt loads. Would love a copy if you're still putting a disc together Jam05. Will reimburse your costs of course.
