Sunday Times Culture features festivals this week and asks various artists who their ideal line up would be
RH - I'd start with the Velvet Underground. There are so few people who actually saw them live at their peak, and if they say they did, they're probably lying. Then I'd have the Jimi Hendrix Experience, with Noel Redding on bass and Mitgch Michell on drums. Roxy Music would be on the bill too - around the Country Life era. They managed to be so experimental, yet write pop songs. And to round things off, I'd have Little Richard at his craziest. After a long day at a festival, you'd need someone like him to keep the energy up.
