I've been a fan of your solo work since Cole's Corner which blew me away. Since then Open Up Your Door has sort of become our family song as we both love it and my 4 year old sings it all the time.
It's my wife's 40th in a couple of weeks and I've put together an amazing band for her surprise party and I'm going to attempt to cover it with them as a surprise for her. Lots of dynamics to master but it's sounding good. I'll post a copy up after the next rehearsal. Neil Innes is singing a few Rutles songs with us that night. Gonna be fun!

PS I'm a TV bod and used to be the person responsible for choosing what went on the ITV Chart Show when I supported the Longpigs a lot - the debut still a great album (remember kate Burnett and John Turner?). It was seeing you guys support Sleeper at Brixton and being knocked out by the power of the songs that made me put the videos on - not cos Kate and John bought me dinner
