I saw an elsebound train, on the overpass
In the driving rain, every ticket costs the same
For where you can't go
Mustang horses, champagne glasses
Anything frail anything wild
It's the price of living motion, what's beautiful is broken
And grace is just the measure of a fall.

My dog Tillie was attacked by an Alsation tonight :(

Minding her own business, being walked, and was pounced on by the dog who jumped a garden gate to get into the street to get to her.

Busy transferring photos of two big puncture wounds so that I can report this tomorrow.

Count me in. Putting things other than letters on here, however, is way above my skill level. But ive got a big ginger tom cat, called charlie. Found him in the garden 6 years ago, couldnt find his owners, not tagged. Kept him, be lost without him now.

Thank you xxxx
Wounds are proper fang marks, poor bugger had a restless night, kept coming to see me wanting reassurance.
The worst of it is the two girls across the road are keen to help walk her, along with their dog, but they're 13&11 and if something like this happened when they had her ( or they were out with their dog) it might have been worse for everyone so it makes you think twice about something that should be a given. I've got the police coming round this pm as I think the owner needs a warning.
Anyway Tillie is mopey but ok, I'm bathing the bites with saline and she's going to the vets for a check on Monday.

Update...police on their way round to see owner of the Alsation and to have a word. This is the extent of what they can do as what happened would only be an offence under he Dangerous Dogs Act if a human had been bitten, but it isn't illegal for one dog to bite another.
At least the owner might keep her dog restrained after this tho.

That's a horrible thing to happen Maggie and so distressing for poor Tilly and you. I hope she is feeling better and less nervy. That sort of thing can have a terrible effect on a dog. Lots of cuddles are in order I think.
Let's hope the owners heed their warning and keep their dog under better control in the future!

I think that if a dog attacks and injures another person’s dog or other pet, the owner could be guilty of a criminal offence. In Civil Law, the owner, or keeper, of a dog is liable for the damage caused by their dog.

The policeman who sorted this said not :(
Owner has had a caution anyway, so let's hope that's the last time it has happened.

Tillie is fine now, back to normal.
