Fancy a musical treasure hunt?
They've hidden 5 pairs of tickets to see Richard Hawley on his upcoming tour. Simply go down in the woods to find them.

Where to look

In the next few days we'll be hiding envelopes in 5 Woodland Trust woods for you to find. To help you on your way we've listed the woods below and linked to location information and maps to get you started.

1. Hainault Forest, Chigwell, Essex

2. Nut Wood, Cottingham, East Riding of Yorkshire

3. Beeslack Wood, Penicuik, Midlothian

4. St. Benedict's Wood, St Helens, Merseyside

5. Bishop's Knoll, Bristol

To make sure you're not searching in vain follow #DITW on Twitter to find out which tickets have already been bagged. Happy hunting!

Can't get to any of these woods?

Don't worry. They will have another opportunity for you to bag a very special Richard Hawley prize in February so watch that page for details.

The nearest to me is St Helens, which is not very near at all. :(

Great idea to get people out in the fresh air.

This is a great idea - looking forward to a track entitled 'Down In The Pub' being on the next release - and the ensuing treasure hunt in Fagans...

I looked up the St Helens Wood on googlemap then did a search for local pubs - and thought I best stay at home

Aw, what a top idea! It'd be like looking for treasure. If I was near any of those woods I'd be out there like a shot. Do let us know if this moves any further south, won't you? I could put the niece and nephew to work on this - treble my chances of finding them, and give my sister a day's peace into the bargain. Everyone's a winner. What a great way to remind people how magical a wood can be.

Hainault on the end of the Central Line, Josie. Great view of the city from the hill and lots of tree swings hidden in the forest. Take my boys there a lot – yours would love it! x

That sounds fab, Helen. I might investigate that. Are the tree swings strong enough to hold adults?! x

Well obviously! No point having kids unless you can elbow them out of the way to do the fun stuff! Hainault Country Park is tops – has a farm and a nice cafe which does good chips and hot chocolate. And a good rolley down hill – you know, you can lie at the top and roll all the way to the bottom, providing there's no dog shit!
