Great news. The manics were the most important thing in the world to me when I was a teenager

My favourite band (MSP) with my favourite solo artist (RH) - awesome! That has made my day :D

On the 6th May they tweeted to add:

This song weve done with Richard Hawley is truly magical-6minutes of uplifting heartbreak-xx

Sounds perfect :D

The latest issue of Q Magazine has a double page spread about the recording of the new Manics album. They describe the song that Richard has recorded with them as "Majestic - imagine Scott Walker singing Love's 'Forever Changes' as the sun sets over a Welsh seaside town." Can't wait to hear it 8)

Here we go. Quite nice. Bit experimental for the Manics, which is very welcome as far as I'm concerned. Really didn't like their last album.
