"UKPA artist Nick Rhodes recently released another wonderful new Richard Hawley tour print above so we thought we would take the oppotunity to ask how the collaberation came about and his ongoing working relationship with Mr Hawley.

”I have known Richard for 6 years now. Having met him at End Of The Road Festival in Dorset. I produce the official festival poster and sell my music prints in a mini marquee at the festival. Richard visits the festival most years and he bobs in for a chat and buys my print. He told me a few years back that he has them all framed going up his is stairs at home. So that was the first introduction. I have been bugging Richard for as long as I have seen him at the festival, to work together. It just this past year that Richard and I have got to it! The first print was for a home gig in Richards home town of Sheffield. It was a pretty darn big gig to do, as it was his home turf in the city hall. The print sold out instantly much to my relief! which in turn I have been commissioned for the next 2 prints.

Richard is great to work for in terms of artwork, as his lyrics and music inspire me a lot, so its great to be able to visualise my interpretation of his songs.”

So no, a different Nick Rhodes.

Thanks for clearing that up. I was an avid reader of Smash Hits back in the day, and I seem to remember that Nick Rhodes ( :pirat: this one) had a penchant for photography!

Apologies to the Shard's Edge Nick Rhodes. ..>

balls. I entered a pic before the 'closing date for entries' 31st August.

I got an email back saying that the closing date for entries was 19th August, and that the competition closes on 31st...

er... clear information?

Not that i can see. I havent received my prize yet anyway. :?

I reckon if they look at the rules that is one entry per person and only their first entry will be taken, then there are probably only about 20% that are eligible!

Wonder if this is something else that has stalled due to the record company move?
