Not related to the above but another interview so rather than start a new thread I'll re-name this one.

Great interview. It reminded me a bit of a documentary I watched about Charles Mingus and his views on music - for him there was no 'old' music or 'new' music, just good music and bad music.

From BBC News

"The Off the Shelf Festival in Sheffield has commissioned a new poem as part of Year of Making Sheffield 2016.

The new piece has been composed by the city's internationally known, and award winning musican Richard Hawley."

This can be found at the top of the escalators in the Millennium Galleries Walkway.

And it's a beautiful thought too. Where science and magic intersect, there's no such thing as ordinary. Every little part of you...is a miracle of molecules...

Seeing them tonight!! It's been a loooooong time. I have no idea why they decided to stop in Milwaukee, but I'm not going to question it. Evidently they've been running into some people I know here and there around town, and yesterday they were in my favorite record shop about an hour before I wandered in. That's a good thing. Nobody needs to see me go full fangirl on them. "HURR DERP UMMM I LOVE YOUUU"
