I remember a friend of my Grandads used to give me songs that came out of a pub jukebox, so I had to put those little black things in the middle. The 3 records that I remember were Fernando by Abba, You Sexy Thing- Hot Chocolate and Don't fear the reaper by Blue Oyster Cult.....I still love those songs!

great balls of fire, and the 1812 overture were particular faves in my infant days.

My father's stash of those lovely little 45s that I would play on my Mickey Mouse player....

Elvis Presley - Blueberry Hill
Buddy Holly - Peggy Sue Got Married
Supremes - Where Did Our Love Go

All of my Disney records got banished into the closet after hearing those above 45s.

First record ever owned.....

Elvis Presley - Pure Gold

1. Kentucky Rain 2. Fever 3. It's Impossible 4. Jailhouse Rock 5. Don't Be Cruel 6. I Got A Woman 7. All Shook Up 8. Loving You 9. In the Ghetto 10. Love Me Tender

Oo, that is a good question. There's one record I really remember, so vividly. Everything about that moment, holding the giant thing in my toddler hands.

My babysistter had came over, and after my parents had gone out, she was going on and on about some place "lun din" she wanted to go to, and she had this record with these boys with strange rubbery faces that scared me, but I kept staring at them, and she put it on and we made chocolate pudding and listened to...Rubber Soul.

me too!

I was about 4, we went on holiday to fleetwood (near blackpool) and my dad bought me a little radio that i had glued to my ear waiting for it to come on and i'd stomp around doing my best gary glitter impression. And we were in a cafe somewhere and i put it on a juke box. Some biker bloke didn't like it so walked up and turned the juke box and turned it off, so my dad walked over and threatened him in front of his big biker mates. and he put it back on.

That and remembering seeing roy wood on top of the pops with the big hair and glasses.

The first song I remember was Pink Floyds 'Another Brick in the Wall'. I was scared to death of the inflatable headteacher effigy. I would have been about 3 I reckon when that was out. My favourite early group though was Madness. All us kids loved Madness.
