Elbow are a fantastic band!! I absolutely love them. They are a brilliant live band too, Guy Garvey might be a big hairy Manc bloke but he sings like an angel! And I can't wait to hear the Elbow/Hawley track! If anyone hasn't heard them check out "Switching Off" or "Scattered Black And Whites" - Awesome! |

yes, he was described as having the face of a brickie but the voice of an angel which i think is pretty accurate. |

The Q review gives "The Seldom Seen Kid" 4 stars. Then the "Like that? Try this" recommendation is "Coles Corner". I think Guy said this'll be Elbow's last "traditional" album, as downloads will change the way music's marketed. Such a shame, as I'll never look forward to a few tracks available on the internet as much as I've looked forward to putting a disc onto a turntable or draw. |

I just have to say that seeing Elbow & Hawley together would be easily one of the single most gratifying experiences ever! I nearly jumped out of my skin when I heard Richard would be on the new album. Ooooh, all my shoegaze/rockabilly dreams have come true. Crossing my fingers for some US tour collaboration!!!! |

Hooray! I hope it trickles over into May while they're here in San Francisco, or I may have to hop on a plane somewhere. The manfriend & I were front & center for your show in December at Cafe du Nord (I believe he asked for your autographed bag of vomit & I couldn't keep my eyes off your shoes). Hands down, the best show we'd been to in a longlonglong time--we both left buzzing. Hope to see you guys soon Elbow or not!! |

I remembered to watch it. No mention of 'The Fix' but the songs they played were good. I love 'Grounds for Divorce'. |
