Its not as rubbish as it was in the eighties... Sheffield bus station the grimmest place in the land. Vast improvement since then.. and cliche as it sounds its the people that make a place not the buildings. :D

Thanks for the advice Mikey - I do like Nether Edge very much but nothing is available there - it'll be a house swap rather than a purchase so I have to wait and see what's available.

I just really like Sheffield (nothing to do with Richard at all except I wouldn't have ever gone there if it wasn't for him) - but never fear, Fagans won't be my local and I don't think I'lll overlap with the Hawley haunts at all :*:

Talking to my mom this afternoon and she said that your auntie Jean used to bring Joel & Jody up to our house after visiting your moms back when i was a kid. it's strange cos i remembe going to fox house with them and having a picnic & the sheep nicking off with our pack up..your Jody always reminds me of this whenever i see her! , think i was around 10/11 at the time.,small world innit.

anyway...back on to the thread.
