Visited Elsecar the other day for the first time since i was a kid, lovely little place, nice old railway station, old fashioned sweet shop & craft shops, couple of great art galleries and a fantastic antique / auction house too. managed to pick up an old oak dressing table from the 50's, for 55 quid too. bargain. well worth a visit. link below to the heritage centre site, & directions. http://www.elsecar-heritage-centre.co.uk/ |
